Chickpeas burger

My post for spontaneous barbeques presented you very easy and fast recipes.

But what is, if you have time and you don´t like meat?

One super easy possible and almost vegan are chickpeas burger.

Chickpeas contain a great deal of nutrients and they are good for digestion, contain plenty of proteins and vitamins. So it can´t hurt to take a handful of them every day.

  • chickpeas (prefers a can)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic
  • breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • salt/pepper
  • oil

 

Preparation:

  1. At first press small the chickpeas or use a blender
  2. Mix the chickpeas with the egg, salt, pepper and oil together an press the garlic to the mass
  3. Cut the onion in small pieces and stir
  4. Form the mass and roll it in breadcrumbs

The burgers are especially delicious when you stir fresh herbs under the dough. They taste juicier and fresher and are also a great eye-catcher.

If you don´t use soaked chickpeas, is it important you are soaking the chickpeas 24 hours.
