Cucumbers-mango-salad

My boyfriend likes to watch a cooking TV shows.

Many people have such good ideas. I picked up an idea there and changed the recipe a bit: Cucumbers-Mango-Salad

The salad has a sweet spicy and fresh taste. Depending on how spicy you like it, it´s important to decrease the number of chili peppers. I love the spicy touch in the food, so I used a dried chili pepper next to chili sauce. But all incredients you need you´ll find here.

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 mango
  • 1 dried chili pepper
  • spring onion
  • Coriander
  • 4 ts sweet chillisauce
  • 4 ts sesame oil
  • salt and pepper

Preparation:

  1. Wash and cut the cucumbers, dried chili peppers, spring onion and coriander. Peel the mango and cut the pulp in small cubes. Mix all ingredients together and you´re done.
  2. The salad fits very well to meals with rice or as a starter.

Cucumber provides a lot of liquid and is cool in the summer a great refreshment. The cucumber also has very few calories, perfect for the beach body 🙆

In additon to the high water content, the cucumber also provides some vitamins as well as calcium, zinc, magnesium and other minerals. However, these are mostly contained in the shell, so you should alsways pay attention to organic quality.
